Summary: The Business Analyst works with Business Solutions Managers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and elicit requirements.  Leverage new and existing systems and business processes to provide process improvements and organizational effectiveness across the bank.

Essential Functions:

  • Research, resolve, and reconcile non-posted items for checking, savings, certificate of deposits, safety deposit boxes, loans, checking plus and general ledger accounts. 
  • Monitor all activity on inactive accounts by reviewing signatures on transactions.   
  • Review foreign check deposit items based off collection receipt rates. Process necessary adjustments as needed to accounts.
  • Review CD exception reports and make necessary corrections.
  • Independently, complete monthly performance volume tracking within performance reports. 
  • Assist as a backup for processing daily research requests that include but are not limited to performing adjustments on in-house and transit items, verification of deposits, standard bank confirmation, date of deaths, certificate of proof of possession, Department of Health and Human Services, Social Services, Department of Veterans, pledged securities, Audits, and mortgage loan requests from customers and other agencies with proper authorizations.
  • Ensures desk procedures are current and up to date.
  • Alert Supervisor and/or Security Officer to forgeries or suspicious activity. 
  • Be alert to deviation from bank policies and procedures. 
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. 
  • Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned. 
  • Reviews the closed account queue and ensures that the accounts close.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Previous banking experience preferred.   
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Products, Fiserv and in working with other company software.

Working Environment:
Indoor work – not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.

This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
